Wow, that looks excellent!
Awesome! I've seen this up close and it looks even better than the pictures.
After nearly 14 months at KC's, the S3 is finally back in my driveway. Lots of detail assembly-interor, lighting, etc. left to do, but now we can see some light at the end of the tunnel.
Stay tuned for more details, and feel free to come by and see the progress!
Dang, that is so shiny you are reflected in the pic!
Yep, that's supposed to be a big ole Thumb's Up.
WHAAAAAA  ...you didn't cover it for the drive over? What about bugs!!!
Is it legal for a Rover especially a series rover to be that shiny?
The weather was fabulous- keep in mind this thing hasn't been outside for a year, she was begging for some vitamin D.
The future's so bright, I gotta wear shades.
I did find a pine needle on it though-no sap- just as Ken's pulling in the driveway!
More pix up to date. Should be driving it this weekend, sorting out some detail stuff and hoping to bring it to the Trials. Will NOT be competing.
Anybody have a good lower dash?
Dayum thats nice. Is that the "to-do" list taped to the window?
Sure is purty!
It's a constantly updated list that is currently around 25 items, but sometimes they develop sub -categories!
looking good Mr. Srvc!!
saw a 74 SIII at a small car lot that had a swiss cheese frame and the guy there asked what it would be worth restored.........I guessed at $10-12,000 dollars and the condition I told him it would have to be in was like this one.
I guess it all depends on what the desired outcome is. I just returned from the Hershey Antique swap meet and saw some extremely high end restorations that were in the 1/4 million dollar range. Beautiful cars and well done, but I suspect the new owners isn't going to use them.
My dad and I drove there is a 78 Aston Martin DBS V8. Solid mechanically, shiny paint but cracking and crazed. It could be had for around 35k and a decent repaint could be 5-6k, but I kinda liked it just the way it is. I wouldn't have to worry about a stone chip or bug splatter, but an errant door ding would offend me.
Looking good!!!
99% done, going home this weekend!
uhmmm, the philips head screw on the bottom right of the headlight bezel is crooked....frankly I'm shocked!
Awesome work Mr. Srvc.
It must be the camera angle. I shouldn't try to be all artsy and what not.
Very nice work Trevor.
Wow!!! looks great
Wow! Congratulations. How about some interior pictures? What is the location of the restoration shop?
