Default 95 disco and fan clutch

    Hi,
Having survived a disco door latch replacment, and the adventure of the HAYZEUSE! clip I must now move to the waterpump and and it's replacment.
I noticed oil around the thermo element in front of the clutch. Also found the
clutch bearing w/alot of play. I'm guessing a new fan is in order along with the pump. Is there a low cost replacment, IE flex blade fan or a high eff style fan.
Are there any pitfalls I need to look out for when changing the water pump out.
And to Doctor Trevor do you happen to know the number of the bearing
in the idler tension pulley? I failed to retreve it when i had it apart and removed the dust and replaced it with bearing grease.
One more question should I stick with my standby Castrol 10W40 or is there
something better. how about slick 50?

    Thanks
    David's Mechanic.(and dad )
