    Default Owning a 94 Disco

    I am looking to buy a Disco or RRC that can be a DD and off-roader. I am contemplating selling the Civic to get Alicia (my fiancee) some new wheels. That said, it opens the door for me to get something else :-)

    Thoughts?

    Cars for sale, mostly by customers:
    a 2000 D2, lots of good upgrades used for towing a camper trailer;
    a 93 LWB-very nice, lots of new parts, he's looking to upgrade to something Rover with SRS;
    an 89 RRC that needs a lot of work but does run and drive- $500.

    My built Disco and not the best DD- $9k

    Default 93 Lwb

    How much is your customer looking to get out of the 93? How many miles, color, etc.

    I'll post more details on the 93 when I get out to the shop.
    Michael, how about Derek's built up Disco D2? Winch, RTE sliders, lights, sliders, both bumpers RTE, RTE springs, Bilstein shocks, Authentic Battle Damage?

    Trevor -- I am looking for something to be a DD too. Something that built up might not fit the bill. Not that I am looking or a true stocker or anything, but something mild.

    That D2 would work for your commute, it isn't outrageous.

    Default RRC instead of Disco?

    I'd sell my (Trevor's old) '95 RRC. It runs and drives. I'm thinking of going older (leaf springs).

    But I wouldn't sell a Honda to buy any old Rover. There are times when you might actually need to get somewhere.

    Default Rrc

    But were would you really need to go, but out to the garage to work on the Rover?
