    Default range rover sighting

found a 91 lwb range rover green at a local dealership
it has 107,000 miles and is in nice shape the only rust is on the
lift glass and a little by the cd changer, and a little dent on the d/s
rear corner. its a local trade in that has been kept in the garage.
they are asking $7300 for it.
just wanted to pass it along if anyone is looking for one.

Hmmm, 91 would be a SWB. LWB would be 93/4/5. It would have to be exceptional to get that kinda dough!
    I have a 91 SWB that I can't get rid of at $500!

It would have to be showroom perfect to pay $7300 for a '91.

I took this thing for a drive, it's not 'exceptional' or 'showroom perfect'. It is exceptionally rust free (apart from the upper tailgate). I'd say, rust wise, it's pretty much on par with yours Galen (apart from the upper tailgate).

The problems however include the following: scuffed rear corners above the tail lights, a small dimple in one of the doors, a vibration in the front, a clunk in the back, an upper tailgate that is starting to bubble all around the frame, a headliner that is starting to sag, and a heater blower that doesn't function properly.

It's definitely not a $7300 truck. I think their web price is $6000 and it's not worth that either. I think they're pretty firm on the price, however.

It's a shame, with a some work it would be a great truck for someone. It would probably take at least $2k to make it the truck they seem to think it is, and even then it's probably only a $5500 truck... maybe.

Exactly, Galen's is a much better deal... LT230, winch bumper, new upper tailgate.

This vehicle would have to have all the RR issues sorted and be fully trail ready for that kind of scratch.
My wife's 93 county LWB is in mint original condition and I would not have the heart to ask for that much, you gotta love these vehicles... but sorry no deal!
