ok, what exactly does sport mode do anyway? I notice no real seat of the pants differance.

i am pretty sure sport mode will make the tranny shift at higher rpm giving you a longer powerband not sure on the lr3 but some change the suspension rate (stiffer ride, better around corners)

I use the sport mode on the LR3 when I'm towing or in traffic as it raises the shift points. Haven't noticed any suspension differences, but then it's pulling 7000lbs or under 30 mph! In traffic, it's nice to not be waiting for a downshift when trying to deal with the concertina effect in stop and go.

Funny when I push mine the suspension lowers about 1.38" and a whirling sound happens like the Cummins when the Turbo spools up a red light flashes back and forth across the hood and it starts talking to me ...in Japanese. I never tested it but it feels like I get about 76 more hp and 47 more ft lbs of torque about the same as a Honda Civic and it just blasts away....no body else??

    It is the Canadian version
