Default Does Land Rover make off road vehicles

A funny thing happened to me today. I drove my 72 Series III to the bank to use the ATM machine, parked it and walked up to the machine. A nice young man about 30 years old was standing there and he said "That is a pretty rugged looking vehicle. I didn't know Land Rover made off road vehicles, I thought they only man luxury SUV's."

Nothing a little diamond plate and PA pinstripping won't fix

After going to LR Experience a few weeks ago and driving the LR3 off road I would choose one of them for off-roading in a heartbeat. They are extremely capable and fun to drive. They appear to have lost their edge, but it is still there.

Anybody who has been to MAR knows how far out in the middle of nowhere I live. Recently I got new tires mounted at the local tire shop. The one guy was real excited telling me how cool the truck was. He told me he wanted one of the WWII era Rovers. My response? "Those are pretty rare, good luck finding one."
