Engine Tune up /1999 Disco II

Did an engine tune up this past weekend in 101 deg. F heat.
New Plugs & wires
New Valve Cover Gaskets
Cleaned and painted valve covers
New Alternator
The job went well. Plug wires are not that hard when the upper manifold is removed but its still not that easy.
Still running strong with 145000 miles. Hopefully the rear seal will stop leaking by itself so I don't have to pull the engine....I won't hold my breath on that one.

Nice! I like the yellow in there for some contrast. Those plug wires definitely are a pain to get to but with the upper inlet off they are MUCH better. 145k miles is nothing! My dad's has over 320k. Yours still has a long life ahead of it.
