    Default 2014 Picnic Suggestions

We are looking to hold a picnic again this year. Does anyone have a suggestion for a good location? Keeping in mind the geographic disbursement of our club.

FWIW, my vote would be a combined picnic/outing to some place like Rausch Creek.

G - that doesn't sound bad. I've been unable to attend the last few because they were so far away. I think I'm probably the farthest away from everything though.

So far that is the way it is stacking up on facebook too, event at Rausch. Are you saying it works better because you can justify a weekend versus one day that far away?

As long as it's before school starts a weekend is very doable. What would make this a more attractive option is going to Raush. So instead of just a picnic/get together we'd be wheeling.

Any thoughts on anthracite as a locale?

I'm biased to Rausch because I know my way around there! I would gladly take a group of stock vehicles or newcomers around.
I've been to Anthracite once in it's early days, but have no idea what it's like now. Maybe able to get up there this Saturday for the NERC Annual, but am unsure at this point.

Rausch would be fine with Jake and me.

For 2015, would there be any interest in making the picnic part of some bigger event?
Import Carlisle (typically in May) comes to mind, but the are other events that could work too.

I vote for the McMullen estate.
