    Default LR3 electronics

What's the only vehicle in the fleet that won't start for two days when the temp is below 20 degrees (and which has a recent battery)? Hint: It displayed the message "REDUCED ENGINE PERFORMANCE" when it failed to crank.

When it gets really cold the LR3 often displays some weird symptom. Last year it started but told me there was a suspension fault. So I drove it long enough to warm it up, pulled over, removed the key from the ignition, opened the door to make it think I got out, closed the door, locked it, unlocked it, opened and closed the door, and restarted it. Problem solved.

That reminds me of a joke . There were three engineers (mechanical, electrical and software) riding in an LR3 that suddenly stopped running and coasted to the side of the road . . .

Its a good thing it tells you that your engine performance has been reduced. Otherwise, you'd have totally missed that without the car starting. Isn't technology great?

I just ordered glow plugs to try to solve my cold starting issues.
