Default Fall Robesonia Trials Event Oct. 20-22, 2017

Announcing the ROVERS annual Fall Trials event at 101 E. Mountain Ave., Robesonia, PA 19551.

Trials events are a skill based event where you attempt to navigate your truck through a series of gates in each section. Gates are numbered in descending order and the object is to get through without touching them. Lowest score wins! The property is rocky, hilly and with mature trees. The course is laid out with challenge in mind, not carnage and some bypasses do exist.

Friday night is set up and free run of the course with a pot luck or your own meal.

Saturday is the trials event with local pizza for lunch and a potluck dinner at the camp site.

Sunday will be likely be a continuation of the trials event and camp break down.

There will be prizes in all the categories and a raffle at the end of the event.

    Camping is primitive.

    $25 for participants, Spectators/Non-drivers are $5.

Both Saturday and Sunday events start at 9 a.m.
Work Weekends will occur the two weekends prior to the event. Saturday, October 7th and Saturday, October 14th. If you would like to help out contact Lyle at 484-357-9058

    Default Setup 1

Hoping to be there for setup day 1. Lizzy will help, I want to work on Dave's 110 engine, if Tom B. is around.

    Default Better late than never!

Hello everyone! Been doing a lot of work out of town and overnight, not much time for family and other functions. Finally at home for 2 days in a row and had a few minutes to log on and update.
Last weekend was the weekend of "broken things" between running out of gas, flat tires, dead batteries, clutches stuck to pressure plates, unexplained electrical issues, etc, we only really got one course set. Still, of course, had a good time, just not overly productive.
This weekend was very productive! We were able to complete the other 9 courses needed on Saturday and now have ten ready for next weekend. We had a great mix of new people and regulars to set courses. Thank you to everyone that helped. The courses are a mix of difficulties, from mild to wild. We used all corners of the property this year to get a good sampling.
Tomorrow we will work on firewood for the campground, score cards, and Dad's 109 that is still sitting on the lift in the garage.
Next weekend is free primitive camping Friday and Saturday nights. We plan on having a night run also.
Let me know if you have any questions!
    thank you, Lyle
