    Default Discovery Paint

I purchased a 96 Discovery (which I love soooo much) in February. I have noticed that when it rains and the rain dries, the paint still looks good (almost as if the car was just washed). Before the Disco, I had a Mazda 626 and whenever it would rain, the paint would look terrible, even if the car was just washed and waxed. I was wondering, is the paint on the Disco different (stronger, better, whatever) than other cars?

    Hey Alvin,
It could be a combination of type of paint, number of coats, and the type of wax used. The more coats of paint, the deeper and more luxurious the finish will be. Also, over the years, the sun can do some wicked damage to the cars finish. If your disco was garaged, that could make a world of difference.
