RRC trans help....

.....I want to eventually put a manual trans in my Classic, but not sure of what manual trans to look for that mates up to V8. If need I can make an adapter plate, but would prefer not to. Ideas?

A Rover manual? How about the LT77 or the R380?
And, I have a flywheel from a 3.9 Defender left over from when I converted it to an auto earlier this year.
Please, make it go away! I don't want it sitting around here, but I also dont want to scrap it.
Come to think of it, I also have the clutch pedal pivot and mounting, mastercylinder and hydraulic bits left over from this LT77.
You'll need that sort of stuff anyway; maybe it will work for your needs.

If you have a decent LT 77, I'd definitely be interested. I should have been more descript, something other than a LT77, and only because I was having a hard time finding one. I was just wondering if anything else fit. But hell this works out good.

I sold the trans a while ago, but it needed an overhaul.
