It's a constantly updated list that is currently around 25 items, but sometimes they develop sub -categories!

saw a 74 SIII at a small car lot that had a swiss cheese frame and the guy there asked what it would be worth restored.........I guessed at $10-12,000 dollars and the condition I told him it would have to be in was like this one.

I guess it all depends on what the desired outcome is. I just returned from the Hershey Antique swap meet and saw some extremely high end restorations that were in the 1/4 million dollar range. Beautiful cars and well done, but I suspect the new owners isn't going to use them.
My dad and I drove there is a 78 Aston Martin DBS V8. Solid mechanically, shiny paint but cracking and crazed. It could be had for around 35k and a decent repaint could be 5-6k, but I kinda liked it just the way it is. I wouldn't have to worry about a stone chip or bug splatter, but an errant door ding would offend me.

It must be the camera angle. I shouldn't try to be all artsy and what not.
